About Leavenworth Floral
Michelle has always loved the event industry, being creative and working with her hands. She got a job apprenticing at a flower shop in Roncesvalles (Toronto) and fell in love with floral design. She spent time there learning, growing and developing her design style. She then started freelancing for florists all over the city and eventually started taking on weddings as side projects and set-up a studio in her Mom’s garage. Things started to pick-up steam in 2018 and she got her own proper studio and left the flower shop, and the beginnings of her business officially started.
Now, she loves her days and loves her work, and is so happy she took the leap. The name Leavenworth Floral is inspired by Michelle’s earliest floral memories of sprinkling crushed up egg shells in her Grandmother’s rose garden, at her home on Leavenworth Crescent. Influenced by the organic colours, textures and shapes of nature, Michelle and her team create thoughtful designs that are detailed, impactful and reflective of each client’s event aesthetic.

What Led Michelle to Want to Work Together:
Michelle was in the process of growing and building a team, so she wanted to move away from being a self-titled studio, and instead grow stronger brand recognition as a company with multiple talented team members. She also wanted brand visuals that could grow and evolve with the business, and then extend them to her website, social media and beyond to create consistency.
